1. Information we use

GolfLive.UK may hold the group organiser's name and email address, group name, player names, handicaps, course details, scores, scoring history, app settings, support correspondence and technical information required for sessions, security and notifications.

2. Why we use it

We use information to create and operate groups, authenticate access, provide live scoring, leaderboards, history and statistics, send enabled notifications and essential service emails, support account recovery, respond to enquiries and prevent misuse.

3. Free access and historic payments

GolfLive.UK is free to use. New group registration does not require payment details, and we do not use Stripe to collect payments for new group registrations. Some groups previously held paid subscriptions. Limited records of those historic transactions may be retained where needed for accounting, refunds, disputes or legal obligations. Stripe may retain historic payment information under its own privacy terms. GolfLive.UK does not store full payment-card numbers.

4. Account recovery

The account email is used for secure recovery. Recovery links are stored as hashes, expire after 30 minutes and can be used once. Completing recovery replaces both PINs and ends existing group sessions.

5. Service providers

GolfLive.UK uses Cloudflare services for hosting and data storage and Resend for transactional and support emails. These providers process information as needed to deliver those services. Historic payments may be reflected in records held by Stripe.

6. Retention and security

Group and scoring data is retained as needed to operate GolfLive.UK and preserve round history. Historic transaction data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate record-keeping. Access PINs are hashed for verification. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and contact

Group administrators can manage saved group information within GolfLive.UK. To ask about your personal information, correction or deletion, email support@golflive.uk. Requests will be assessed in line with applicable UK data-protection law.
