Privacy Notice
1. Information Golf Live uses
Golf Live may hold the group creator's name and email address, group name, saved player names and handicaps, course information, round scores and history, group settings, subscription identifiers and technical information needed to operate logins, sessions and push notifications.
2. Why the information is used
The information is used to create and operate Golf Live groups, provide live scoring and history, authenticate group and admin access, deliver requested notifications, administer subscriptions, prevent misuse and maintain the service.
3. Payments
Stripe processes subscription checkout, payment methods, invoices and subscription status. Golf Live receives Stripe customer, checkout and subscription identifiers and status information but does not store full card details.
4. Hosting and service providers
Golf Live uses cloud infrastructure and supporting services to host the application, database and network functions. Data may therefore be processed by those service providers as needed to deliver Golf Live.
5. Push notifications
If a device enables notifications, Golf Live stores the technical push-subscription information required to send notifications to that device. Notification permission can be disabled on the device.
6. Retention
Group and scoring data is retained while needed to provide the Golf Live service and its history features. Subscription and operational records may be retained for administration, security and legal obligations. Data that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymised.
7. Sharing
Golf Live does not sell personal information. Information is shared with service providers only where needed to operate the service, process payments, provide infrastructure or comply with legal requirements.
8. Your choices
Group administrators can manage many saved player and group details inside Golf Live. Requests concerning personal information can be made to the Golf Live operator through the contact route supplied with the service.
9. Security
Golf Live uses technical controls including hashed authentication PINs and server-side sessions. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so Admin PINs should only be shared with trusted administrators.
10. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as Golf Live develops or its service providers change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
